Binn Ibes was a Jedi Knight during the time of the Old Republic, a few years before the Battle of Naboo. Binn Ibes was an acquaintance of Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and eventually he took on a Padawan of his own. The student that Binn chose as his Padawan was a young Dresselian student know as Reeft, friend to legendary Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. In the waning years of the Old Republic, Binn spent much of his time with his apprentices, going on missions that would assist him in helping Reeft develop as a Jedi Knight.
